High West House is only mins from Highway 82, but at the end of a road on the edge of the valley the beauty and serenity of nature envelopes this luxury home. Centrally located in the Roaring Fork Valley: 40 mins to Aspen, 10 minutes to Whole Foods and plenty of shopping and dining, 15 minutes to Carbondale and 30 minutes to the Glenwood Hot Springs make High West House the perfect spot to explore the Aspen Valley.
There are two homes on this property in close proximity to each other. Other guest can will be present on the property. There is rarely any interaction between other guests but we do like guests to be aware of this! This is a strict NO SMOKING policy inside the home. Smoking and vaping is permitted outside.
Our road is professionally plowed, but it can still be slippery during the winter months. For winter bookings, guests must have front-wheel drive with all-season tires or a vehicle equipped with four-wheel drive.

This open-concept, luxurious home has something for everyone and can sleep up to 6. The main-floor master bedroom boasts 4 person steam sauna, ensuite bathroom, and deck access. Also in the home is a spacious kitchen, office, living room, dining room, and large deck areas. The 3rd bedroom is also the office workspace.

The Juniper is a gorgeous private suite situated on 10 acres of land in a pristine forested Pinyon Jupiter ecosystem just outside of downtown Carbondale. The unobstructed view of Mount Sopris and views the Elk and Ragged Mountains from The Jupiner is what makes this space truly special - enjoy this magical view on your private decks or from the bedroom.
The Space
TThe Juniper suite is perfect for two. Gaze out of the large patio doors to views of Mount Sopris from the king bed in the bedroom. Stay organized the roomy walk in closet. Soak in the large tub or take a refreshing shower in the large bathroom with two sinks. Sip coffee in the mornings or cocktails at night while watching the sun set on the deck. Prepare simple meals in the well equipped kitchenette which has a drip coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, microwave but no stove no oven. Stream movies or TV from the wifi and stay with good cell service connected if you choose to keep in touch while on your relaxing stay. Please note, the suite includes an outdoor sitting area, but there is not an indoor sitting area.

This is a well appointed suite attached to the end of a house. It has its own private entrance, bedroom, bathroom, living room w/kitchenette and one parking space. The extra bed is a cot w/twin mattress. Enjoy the majestic views of Mt. Sopris and high Colorado peaks from your own patio or watch the wildlife and setting sun across the Roaring Fork Valley from the living room.
