Founded in Western Colorado by David Rasmussen, an elite endurance athlete, High West Retreats was inspired by the search for spaces that support both adventure and restoration — quiet places to recover after long days outside, gather with friends and family, and reconnect with the landscape.

Each property is thoughtfully designed around comfort, natural materials, and connection to place, blending modern alpine hospitality with the character of the surrounding mountain communities.
